Prefinished with a natural oil, HW88107 Duke is a beautiful board with it's cold dark black tone. Duke is a 280-480mm engineered European oak floor wonderfully installed in a one strip pattern. The board is characterised by the deep hand-processing of the timber which creates a heavy texture and a unique undulating surface to each plank.
Designated as rustic grade, all the natural features of a tree will be present. Virtually limitless size and number of knots will be included, along with heartwood, colour variation, sapwood and filler. Checks and end shake should also be expected.
All four sides of the plank have a rounded bevel providing a cobble affect to the surface, which given a directional light source can be particularly affective. The planks come with a tongue and groove profile and is suitable for fully bonded and nailed down installation.
